No. Outdoor Quote Follow-Up is not a CRM, estimating tool, scheduling system, field-service platform, or all-in-one contractor app. It only handles quote follow-up after the estimate has already been sent.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Use your normal email — Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, company email, or any provider. Just add our follow-up address to the CC field on the quote.
Do I need to connect my email account?
No. You do not need to connect Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Workspace, or any other inbox. We send approved follow-ups through the follow-up system on your behalf, with replies routed back to you.
How do I control a follow-up?
You receive a private preview email before the follow-up goes out. From there, you can cancel, snooze, edit, send now, or mark the quote replied, won, or lost.
Can I change the follow-up schedule?
Yes. We use a simple default schedule, but you can reply to the confirmation email with the timing you want. For example: “Send the first follow-up 24 hours after the quote, then another a week later if there’s no reply, then a final close-out 3 days after that.” We’ll confirm the schedule back to you before it runs.
Will homeowners see your email address?
If you CC us on the quote thread, yes, our follow-up address may appear in the thread. Customer follow-ups use a contractor-branded sender such as “Mike at Oak Ridge Fence via QuoteFollowUp,” with replies going back to you. You also receive a private preview before messages go out.
What if the homeowner replies only to me?
If we see the reply, we stop automatically. If the homeowner replies only to you, you will still receive a private preview email before the next follow-up goes out. Click Cancel, Mark Replied, Mark Won, or Mark Lost, and we will stop the sequence.
Does this replace Jobber, Housecall Pro, QuickBooks, Joist, or estimating software?
No. Keep using whatever you already use to create estimates, manage jobs, invoice customers, or collect payments. Outdoor Quote Follow-Up only handles the follow-up after the quote has already been emailed.
What kind of quotes is this for?

Can I approve every message?
You receive a private preview before each customer-facing follow-up. During validation, if you do not stop or change the preview, it sends at the planned time. You can also reply Send, Cancel, Snooze, Edit, Replied, Won, or Lost.
Can the follow-up come from my own email address?
Not during validation. We do not spoof your email or send from your domain. Follow-ups use a truthful contractor-branded sender under the follow-up system, with replies routed back to you.
What if the homeowner does not want more follow-up?
Customer follow-ups are about the specific quote only. If the homeowner replies stop, remove, wrong person, or anything similar, we stop that quote-specific sequence.
